Oasis Arts & Education is a unique, one of a kind experience for individuals living with mental illness and/or intellectual disabilities. The only organization of its kind in Philadelphia, we are an art studio and life skills program empowering our students to creatively find and hone talents and skills.

We offer classes and workshops in small group and one-to-one settings in many art disciplines as well as reading, money management, community integration and more.

The Oasis art program is facilitated by a team of professional artists and a bi-annual artist residency program. Work created at Oasis is promoted through various exhibitions yearly as well as on our web-site and other venues. Artists of the Oasis community have works in private collections throughout the Philadelphia area.

Our life skills program is student-centered, flexible and built as a team entirely around the needs, interests and skill level of the individual. Oasis seeks to act as a conduit for inclusion for all members of our community and welcomes visitors to our studio and events.
